Beguile me with unmetered phrase
That I might view the world you see
A dawn's soft glow or evening's blaze
Sing out your tuneless song with glee.

Tell of the softness of a rose
Adorned with morn's translucent tears
Warn of it's thorns with unrhymed prose
Show me the way; allay my fears.

For I would love to understand
Your thoughts, unstructured and obtuse
With which you build your shacks of sand
Come, sow your seed. My mind seduce.

Time's test of words is your great plight.
Prose wilts and dies 'neath future's light.
